Frequently asked questions

Comfort is everything. Reiki and Indian head massage are received fully clothed, so wear something you feel relaxed in. For massage treatments you’ll be professionally draped with towels throughout, with only the area being worked on uncovered.
Not at all — just arrive as you are. It helps to drink a little water before and after your treatment, and to allow yourself some quiet time afterwards to let the benefits settle, if you can.
Most people feel calm, lighter and deeply relaxed. Occasionally you might feel a little tired or emotional as your body rebalances and releases tension — this is completely normal and usually passes within a day or two.
This is entirely individual. Some clients enjoy a monthly treatment as a regular reset, while others come more often during particularly busy or stressful periods. I’m always happy to suggest what might suit you best.
Holistic therapies are gentle and suitable for most people. If you are pregnant, have a specific medical condition or any concerns, please let me know when booking so we can adapt your treatment — or check with your GP first if needed.
